How the Firm Started
Gialogo and Associates (“G&A Law”) is an election law firm engaged in handling electoral matters involving candidates, political parties, and party-list groups. The firm provides strategic and responsive legal support grounded in its focused election law practice.
Since 2016, the firm has been actively involved in election-related matters, assisting clients in navigating compliance requirements, electoral disputes, and other legal concerns arising before, during, and after elections. Over the years, the practice steadily expanded through continuous involvement in various aspects of election law and procedure.
Today, G&A Law has its office located in the heart of Makati and remains focused on the practice of election law through continuous involvement in electoral matters, constant study of election laws and jurisprudence, and close monitoring of elected-related developments in the country.

Atty. Edward Gialogo
Managing Partner
In Philippine election law, every filing, deadline, and vote carries consequence — and every legal step must protect both due process and the people’s will.
Atty. Edward G. Gialogo obtained his law degree from San Beda University – Mendiola, Manila Campus. He started in 2006 and graduated in 2010 belonging to the prestigious Honor List. He was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2011.
In 2011, he entered government service as Attorney VI in the Office of then COMELEC Chairman Sixto S. Brillantes Jr., where he gained exposure to the legal and procedural aspects of election administration and electoral disputes.
Beginning in 2016, Atty. Gialogo became actively engaged in election law practice. Over the years, he steadily developed his practice through election-related compliance work, advisory services, trainings, and representation before the Commission on Elections and other tribunals. He has conducted lectures on voting procedures for watchers, canvassing procedures for lawyers, and compliance with campaign finance rules.
He has handled election-related matters before the Commission on Elections, Municipal Trial Courts, Regional Trial Courts, the House of Representatives Electoral Tribunal, and the Supreme Court. Among his notable engagements was representing the Petitioner in Duterte Youth vs. P3PWD, which reached oral arguments before the Supreme Court.
In recognition of his experience in election matters, Atty. Gialogo was appointed as a member of the Investigating Panel on the alleged discrepancy in the ACM count in Rosales, Pangasinan.
Apart from election law practice, Atty. Gialogo also has experience in taxation, having previously worked as Associate Director in the Tax Division of SyCip Gorres Velayo & Co. (SGV & Co.) and later acting as tax consultant for the Commission on Elections, where he assisted on taxation and regulatory matters involving the agency.
His practice likewise extends to legal education. He previously lectured on business law to accountancy students at San Beda University and National University and served as a Business Law Reviewer at the Review School of Accountancy (ReSA).
At present, Atty. Gialogo serves as the Managing Partner of Gialogo and Associates. He continues to actively handle election-related matters while closely monitoring legal and procedural developments affecting the Philippine electoral process.
